Ingredients
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
- 4 tbsp (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups Diamond of California Chopped Walnuts
- White frosting for decorating
- Pretzels for dipping
The Steps
- Combine the cream cheese and butter in a mixing bowl. Mix on high until combined. Add the sugar and mix again until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
- Add the salt and vanilla extract, mix to combine.
- Add the chocolate chip and mix until just incorporated.
- Refrigerate the bowl for 30 minutes, then transfer the mixture to a large plate. With slightly damp hands, shape the mixture into a football in the center of the plate.
- Pour walnuts over top and gently press them into the cookie dough mixture to cover completely.
- Use white frosting to pipe the football stitching on top of the walnuts.
- Serve with pretzels, fruit or graham crackers.
