Blackberry Pecan Skillet Cobbler

Ingredients
- Filling:
- 2 cups blackberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground nutmeg
- Topping:
- 1 can refrigerated prepared biscuits
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup Diamond of California® Chopped Pecans
The Steps
- Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees and lightly butter an oven safe skillet.
- Combine all filling ingredients in a bowl, stir to combine. Spread filling in an even layer in the prepared skillet.
- To make the topping, cut the prepared biscuit dough into 1 inch pieces and spread on top of the filling.
- Combine the melted butter, brown sugar, flour, salt and pecans in a bowl. Use a fork to mix together until crumbly, then sprinkle on top of the biscuit dough.
- Bake for 25 minutes until filling is bubbly and topping is cooked through and browned.
