Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups Diamond of California® Walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 3 bananas
  • 1/2 cup organic butter (melted)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 organic eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1-1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt

The Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 9×5 loaf pan with butter.
  3. In a bowl, mash bananas with a fork.
  4. In another bowl mix the butter and sugar together until combined.
  5. Mix in the eggs and vanilla.
  6. Mix in sour cream, bananas, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Mix in the flour until combined.
  8. Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
  9. Pour batter into pan and bake for 50 minutes, or until done.
  10. Cool on rack.
