Dark Chocolate Truffle Pie

- 1 Diamond of California Ready to Use Chocolate Nut Pie Crust
- 1 1/4 cup half & half
- 1 tsp unflavored gelatin
- 2 cups dark chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
The Steps
- In a mixing bowl, mix half & half and flavored gelatin. Whisk gently to minimize clumps. Allow to soften for approximately 5 minutes.
- Pour half & half gelatin mixture into a small saucepan. Warm on medium heat for approximately 2 minutes. Whisk while adding dark chocolate chips. Stir slowly until mixture is smooth.
- Remove from heat. Add vanilla, stir to combine.
- Carefully and slowly pour into Diamond of California Chocolate Nut Pie Crust.
- Gently move filled crust into refrigerator for 4 hours or until set.
- Top with whipped cream and garnish as you desire!
