Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts

- 1/2 pound bacon, sliced into half inch pieces
- 1/2 onion, peeled and sliced thinly
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1 pound brussel sprouts, trimmed & cut into halves
- 1/3 cup Diamond of California chopped walnuts
- Balsamic vinegar, to taste
The Steps
- Preheat air-fryer to 400 degrees F.
- Toss bacon, onion and one tablespoon of oil together in a medium bowl. Once air-fryer is preheated, add ingredients and cook for 8 minutes, stirring halfway through. The bacon and onions should only be partially cooked before the next step.
- Carefully remove the partially cooked bacon and onions from the air-fryer, and toss together
with the brussels sprouts and the remaining tablespoon of oil. - Place everything back into the air-fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 25-30 minutes, shaking the tray or stirring at 5-minute
intervals, for even cooking. - When the brussels sprouts have five minutes remaining, stir, and then sprinkle the walnuts across the top. Air fry for a final five minutes.
- When the brussels sprouts are crispy and ready to be removed from the air fryer, toss with a drizzle of your favorite balsamic vinegar and serve immediately.
