Broccoli Cheddar Quiche with Walnut Pie Crust

Ingredients
- 1 Diamond of California® Ready to Use Walnut Pie Crust
- 1 cup frozen broccoli florets, thawed and drained
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup half & half
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
The Steps
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Sprinkle half of the sharp cheddar cheese on the bottom of the Diamond of California Ready to Use Walnut Pie Crust.
- Layer thawed drained broccoli on top of cheese. Ensure broccoli florets are bite size. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of broccoli.
- Crack eggs into a bowl. Beat eggs. Blend in half & half, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Slowly pour mixture over cheese and broccoli in the Diamond of California Ready to Use Walnut Pie Crust.
- Carefully place in center of oven on the middle rack. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out cleanly.
- Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Serve and enjoy!
