Caramel Apple Pops

- 2 apples
- 8 lollipop sticks
- 2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup orange candy melts
- 10 soft caramel candies
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/2 cup Diamond of California® Pecans, finely chopped
The Steps
- Wash the apples and dry thoroughly. Slice each apple length-wise into 4, ½ inch slices, cutting the rounded ends off so each slice is flat.
- Stick a lollipop stick into the bottom of each apple slice and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Melt the dark chocolate, then dip the apple slices into the chocolate, shaking off the excess before placing back on the parchment paper. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- Melt the white chocolate and the orange candy melts in two separate bowls, set aside.
- Put the caramel candies and the water in a small saucepot over medium heat and cook until caramel is melted.
- Remove the apples from the fridge and drizzle each slice with white chocolate, orange candy melt and caramel.
- Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Refrigerate for another 20 minutes before serving.
