Caramel, Pecan and Cranberry Baked Brie

- 1 wheel of brie
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Diamond of California Pecans
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- Crackers for serving
The Steps
- Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees and line a small cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small sauce pan over medium-high heat, combine the brown sugar, butter, cream, salt and cinnamon. Stir until sugar melts, then whisk until it thickens, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool while brie bakes.
- Place the brie on the cookie sheet and bake for 7 minutes. Immediately transfer the brie to a serving plate.
- Sprinkle the pecans and dried cranberries on top, and then drizzle with caramel sauce. Serve with crackers for dipping.
