Cinnamon Walnut Pull-Apart Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup Diamond of California® Chopped Walnuts
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup sugar

The Steps

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cut each sheet of puff pastry into 32 even squares, place on a sheet of parchment.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar. Use a pastry brush to gently brush the mixture on to the puff pastry squares.
  4. Place 4 to 6 pieces of puff pastry into each muffin hole, then push a few walnuts between each layer.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until muffins are golden brown.
