Nut Coated Meatballs

- 3/4 cup Diamond of California Italian Nut Coatings, divided
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce, optional
The Steps
- Heat oven to 425° F. Line a standard baking sheet with foil. Place ½ cup of Diamond of California ® Italian Nut Coatings in a shallow bowl and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together remaining ¼ cup of nut coatings and the rest of the ingredients. Scoop or shape 1-1 ½ inch meatballs, roll in the nut coatings in batches and place one inch apart on pan.
- Bake uncovered for 15-17 minutes, or until cooked through to an internal temperature of 160° F.
