Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

- 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 3 cups milk
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 cup Diamond of California® Chopped Pecans
The Steps
- In a sauce pot, combine the oats and milk. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, then stir in the pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Cook for an additional 10 minutes until oats are soft.
- Transfer to two bowls and top with maple syrup and chopped pecans.
