Walnut Hummus with Toasted Pine Nuts

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup Diamond of California Chopped Walnuts
- 2 cans of chickpeas, drained and rinsed (14 oz each can)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 4 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp Diamond of California Pine Nuts, toasted
The Steps
- Place the walnuts in a food processor and grind until a smooth paste forms.
- Scrape down the sides of the food processor. Add the chickpeas, garlic, lemon, olive oil and salt. Pulse until smooth.
- Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle with paprika and pine nuts.
- Serve with fresh vegetables and pita chips.
